Diesel!

Below is a birthday card for my grandson who now has a new family pet.  The new pet is a Chesapeake Lab and his name is Diesel.

I came across this cute stamp set which was perfect.  The image is water colored. And the background is colored with distress oxide inks. Add some grass, balloons, and a sentiment and I call it complete!

 It’s Been A While….

 

I hope you are well and keeping safe!  The virus pandemic has me going a little nuts trying to keep things sanitized and being on lock down (hubby and I fall under the high risk group). 

I lost my mojo and was in a creative slump!  I am beginning to get some mojo back mainly because I had quite a few cards that needed to be made.  Here are two cards I made (actually three).  I had to make two graduation cards so the one  I am sharing I made two of them.  Just one more graduation card and a birthday card to do.  And then hopefully I can begin adding to my very limited stash.

Halloween Cards

Happy Birthday Card

I learned a new coloring technique from GinaK Designs and right now it is one of my favorites.  The floral stamp (Beautiful Flowers by SSS) was embossed in white embossing powder.  The blending was done using Sweet Corn Ink (GKD).  Then the image was colored using Prisma Colored pencils (Goldenrod & Kelly Green).  I used three pieces of card stock to assemble the card (Pineapple by Taylored Expressions and from my stash I used Neenah (white) & Black.  The sentiment is called May Flowers by Stampendous.

Happy 10th Birthday

My Grandson celebrated his birthday on 8/19.

He loves cats!  

 

The cats were colored with Prisma Premier Colored Pencils.

Sympathy Card

When you think about the hardest card to make its a Sympathy card.  A dear close friend of mine lost her battle to cancer. This is the card I made to send to her family.

Thinking of You

Sharing a card I made for a friend.

The stamped image was stamped on watercolor paper.  I use Altenew’s watercolor pan paints to paint the flowers. The background was also water colored using two shades to get the color I wanted.  Butterflies are from my stash.

Happy 12th Birthday!

My grandson loves cats.  I saw a cute cat face die to use to make a card.  When I got the die it was more for Halloween, lol.  So I went to Plan B and used whatever I had in my stash to make his card.  I was stuck on how to design the card so I went to Pinterest .  I ran across a very easy design and cased it.  I added some subtle differences to my card.

Christmas Card Series Set 5

Special Birthday Card

This card was created for a special friend!
