My nephew’s Birthday is Tuesday and he will be 24. I can remember the day he was born. Where does the time go. I wanted to make him a card but had no clue what I was going to use as an embellishment. I’m so used to making girly style cards so I don’t have much in embellishments for men. I saw this cute car digital image and thought it was perfect. And the paper I had made everything I used blend together. I just thought I share the card with you hoping it would give you ideas making a card for a guy.
All I used was paper, black glitter glue on the tires, silver glitter glue on the chrome of the car and Diamond glaze on the headlights and windshield. Plus I used two Spellbinder dies (circles and a ribbon tag). The shading in my head did not come out on paper as I hoped but I still think it turned out OK. I’m sure he will like it because his Aunt Fran made it just for him.
I always loved sports cars. And when I was in my early 20s I bought me a brand new MG Midget. That was the first car I learned how to drive stick shift. I thought I would have to have a new transmission installed by the time I finally learned how to shift gears. Oh but did I have fun with that car.
Hugs, Fran
What a fun card Fran - I can see why you chose that image :-)

You creation is more than okay - it is fangdangtastic!!!! How are how are you doing? It is my turn to be down and out for a while. Last Monday night I fell and broke my left hip - had surgery Tuesday morning and came back home yesterday afternoon. Recoup is said to take 3 months. Big sigh - I don't know when I will be able to get back downstairs.
ReplyDeleteLove your card!!!
