I used three different digital images to make all three cards.
This adorable digital image from McMahon Five Designs and new from D’amour Allure is called Something Special for My Precious.
When I saw this digital image I knew immediately that I wanted to make a card for someone who loves their Fur babies. And in this case it’s a dog named Precious. I stayed with more of vintage colors because the image is dressed in 1930s fashion. You can use this card for any one having a birthday, added a new fur baby to their family, or just want to say “hi” to a special friend. I hope you like the card as much as I liked making it. Details about the card will be shared below the photos.
Supplies Used: o Digital Image by D’Amour Allure
o Distress Ink Pad (crushed olive and orange marmalade)
o Seam binding: Colored with the Distress ink pad colors
above.
o Prisms Color Pencils using Gamsol Technique
o Papers by: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# Paper
and DCWV Rustic Stack
o Memory Box Die – Elegant Scrollwork (more here)
o Embellishment on bow is four 1/2 circles punched from
DCWV paper (glued together) and a piece of the elegant
scrollwork.
The digital image on this card is called Castaway and when I looked at her expression I knew it was one I wanted to color too. And I thought it would make a great Thinking of You card, Miss You card or even a Get Well card. Let me know what you think. The bold colors and all the bling is what I thought this image expressed to me. Isn’t her pouty expression adorable?
Glitter on image is by Ranger and you can see all the beautiful shades by clicking here. All papers used on this card are from my bits and pieces that I save from other projects. Its such a great way to use up all your paper. Additional Bling is from my personal supplies.
