My niece always hosts our family Christmas gathering. And I always take her a hostess gift. This year its going to be an edible gift. Not sure what I will be making but it has to be something she loves to eat. Maybe my Sugared Pecans!
With that in mind I decided to make a gift tag with a vintage flair. And wanted to add a cute Magnolia stamp too. I looked in my small collection and chose Kitchen Tilda. Now you would think that since it’s Christmas time I would have used the traditional colors. No I sure didn’t. Tilda is wearing her brown cooking outfit with a pretty rose/pink head scarf. I love the colors I used together. Let me know what you think.
Everything used on this tag is from my stash. Some of the embellishments I had so long that I literally forgot where I bought them. Tilda was colored using Copic markers. Here are the colors I used: Dress, apron, socks, shoes & wooden spoon colored with E33, E35, E37 & E47 (with a touch of YR20 in the center of the wooden spoon). Scarf and ribbon on spoon used R39, R59, & a touch of R83. Skin colored with E00, E11, E21 & R20.
Kitchen Tilda all dressed in shades of brown. Isn’t she the cutest!
This is a Prima Rose from the Marcel collection. I added very little stickles glitter to the edges. And a small doily added to the back of the rose.
I hope you liked my Kitchen Tilda Hostess Tag as much as I liked creating it. See you soon!
