You may have guessed who it is but in case you didn’t its Tilda! She is so happy that she is dancing around in all the Spring flowers in her yard. Tilda hopes Spring has arrived for you. And if it hasn’t yet weather wise just be patient because it will soon.
This card is a little different from what I usually make but I really had fun making it. And Tilda has such a way that she makes me smile while I colored her. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Note: The colors you see are actually the true colors. I am very pleased with the way my camera picked up the colors so vibrantly. You can click on the images to get a better view.
Tilda was colored using Distress Inks as the watercolor medium. It is my very first completed DI Watercolor painted image used on a completed card. I am currently taking a DI Watercolor Class over at Suzanne Dean’s Color Creative Classroom with Angie Hunt as the Instructor. What a great class!
All papers and embellishments on this card are from my stash bin. The only new embellishment is the ribbon (seam binding) that I gathered. I bought a 100 yard roll of white seam binding from Zipperstop.com. I have even colored some of it to give away. I used my homemade color mist to color it & it turned out lovely. Ninety percent of my crafting supplies are bought from StampingScrapping.com.
I am entering this card in the following challenge: My Time Made Easy called Pretty Patterns 01 and following the pretty pattern 01 sketch.
Thank you so much for visiting! Hugs, Fran
