Now let’s see what I did using this week’s sketch as my guide.
The past couple of days have been real gloomy and rainy and I needed something to cheer me up and to bring lots of color in my world. And I thought using a theme of cheerful colors I went with a Get Well Card that will certainly bring a smile to its recipient.

Supplies: Additional paper by DCWV (Café Mediterranean), Scallop punch by EK Success, Scallop Borders punch by Martha Stewart, Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, Sentiment is computer generated, Stickles (Lime Green) by Ranger, & ribbon from personal supply.
As you can see I have lots of different elements on my card that made me feel so cheerful. Notice the pretty butterfly? I used one of the butterflies from All A Flutter Digital Stamp which has 25 images in the package. And then I colored the butterfly using a beautiful array of digital papers from Citrus Peel. Oh the colors in this package are truly awesome & very cheerful! Here is a close-up of the butterfly wearing two of the cheerful papers.
I wanted the sentiment and butterfly to be the focal point of my card. So I made a wired spring and attached it to the scallop circle. Here is a closer view.
I wish you could see the card in person with the beautiful butterfly perched so gracefully and the sentiment springing in to action.
I hope this will get you sketchy too!
