A Child Is Born

This project started out to be a Christmas Card.  But by the time I finished adding everything it was too heavy for a Christmas Card so I added an Easel to the back and now I will display it under my tree.  The Stable and Baby Jesus’ Crib is made from real wood paper that I purchased from McMahon Five Designs Store.  Bedtime Luka Stamp is a La La Land stamp and can be purchased from the Cutters Creek store.  The Stable, Baby Jesus and Crib is an svg file purchased from SVGCUTS.com called O Holy Night.

Other items used I used to complete my project are:  Stickles Glitter Glue, Flower Soft, (can be purchased from Cutters Creek Store), Prisma Colored Pencils were used to color Luka and Baby Jesus’ Face, and  Kaisercraft Rhinestones in the window can be purchased at the Cutters Creek Store. The paper used for the card base and sky background is by Neenah and can be purchased here (McMahon Five Designs).  And the sky was colored using a Distress Ink Pad by Ranger (Faded Jeans).

This project really took me a long time to make because the stable was made with narrow strips of wood in various types and shades.  The roof was a separate piece of wood.  And the two hearts were made out of wood too.  I added some Photo Vintage Distress Ink Stain to all of the wood components.   I really enjoyed making it and I really love how it turned out.

I am on the Design Teams for both Cutters Creek and McMahon Five Designs.  I wanted to show my gratitude to both store owners by using their products on this project.  I am so blessed to be part of two wonderful Design Teams.  And more Blessed to be friends with both Kim and Sue.   And I thoroughly enjoy working with both Design Teams.  All of them are like family and are so good to me.  Thank you ladies for being part of my life and making it possible to enjoy what I love doing best:  CRAFTING!

Wishing all of you a Blessed Holiday and a Healthy and Prosperous New Year!
