The image I chose this week is not very old. It made its debut a couple of months ago. And I’ve been wanting to use the image for a while now. So today I bring you my project using a digital image created by Draw Me A Daydream (DMAD) Designs by Ryan Krisher. This digital set is called Pa’s Paper from Pa’s Paper Digital Designs.
My Project
Most of us know how hard it is to make male cards but it really helps to have a cute image. I used two basic colors tan and black. I also tore tiny pieces of newspaper and glued it to a plain piece of cardstock using Glue N’ Seal by Inkssentials. Then I used Vintage Photo distress ink to give it an aged look. I used the colored image from the set but I wanted to do something I haven’t done before. I used my Silhouette Portrait to do a Print and Cut to get the narrow white border around the image. It only took me two tries and I got it right. Then I took black card stock and made another cut to border the image. I call it beginners luck! The sentiments on the Front and Inside of the card are from the set too. Added some black diamond stickles and called it done!

Supplies Used: Neenah Environment Desert Storm Card Stock; Neenah Classic Linen Black Card Stock. Inkssentials Glue N’ Seal; Black Diamond Stickles; Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive; and Distress Ink Pad Vintage Photo by Tim Holtz (Ranger).
