Over the weekend I was looking at some of my scrap papers that I’ve been accumulating for a long time. So I thought I make a couple of small cards that can be used for just about any occasion. I guess you can call them generic cards. Here are a few photos of them. Details about how I made the cards follow the photos. Let me know what you think.
You can click on each photos for a closer view.
I used Black Soot Stickles on the butterfly’s body and on the scallop.
Details: Card base for both cards is made from Neenah Card Stock (Classic Black Linen). The open design on the cards was created using my Silhouette Portrait. Butterfly is from my stash. One day I cut out about 20 butterflies in white card stock using my Cricut Expression. The distressed rose above is made from an old book using a Spellbinders die (by Donna – Salazar called Rose Creations and distressed with Tim Holtz Distress inks in Black Soot and Pine Needles. The center of the rose is a flower rhinestone bling. Inside the cards is black and white design papers (from my stash). And a 3” round scallop for a sentiment. Easy Peasy Cards for that just right moment when you need a card real quick. I will be making envelopes to fit each card since they are smaller than the average A2 card.
Footnote: The linked products were purchased at Cutters Creek Store and McMahon Five Designs Store. Why don’t you stop by the store and check out their products.
Thank you for stopping by,
